Conventions of cd packaging


for the typical cd cover you will need to include all of these typical conventions.

     - You will need to have a title on the front of your cd case
     - You will need to include a tracklist on the back
     - You will need a barcode
     - You will need a spine to hold the case togeather
     - You will need a main image on the front of the cd case
     - You will need a tray backing
     - You will need a sticker on the case
     - You will need a booklet with additional information in it
     - You will need institutional information somewhere in the package
     - You will need the name of your company and the name of the artist
     - You will need to have a image on the disk
     - You will need to have the lyrics to your song somewhere in the package
     - You will need to include parental advisory
     - You will also need to include the companies logo/trademark
     - You will need the case to be a jewel case
     - You will need to include the date
     - And you will need to include the mechanism of which the cd ejects

these are only the average cd conventions, and not all cds apply to these
